In the Handmade soap making process, oils and fats are combined with

alkali (lye) and water to produce soap and glycerin. No lye, no soap, no

lie! The chemical reaction between the oils, water and lye is called saponification and it is what makes soap. Essential Oils

contribute scent, oxides impart color and botanicals, spices and other

natural ingredients add texture and a gentle exfoliation. Handmade soap

is a special product. Because it contains glycerin, it can retain more

moisture than other soaps. We use a 100% natural blend of vegetable and

nut-based oils that produce a long lasting bar of soap that consistently

outlast other handmade soaps. To extend the life of your handmade soap,

place it in a well-draining soap dish. Keep unused bars in a cool, dry

place and use them within a few months of purchase.
